1996
ASUMH selects a mascot that would depict its growth - the ASUMH TrailBlazers. Schoolhouse colors of blue and green, representing the lakes and mountains of the area, were adopted.
On July 10, an initial buy of 78 acres for the construction of a new campus was appear.
On August 22, Christine Roller, her family, and Roller Funeral Homes of Arkansas pledged $500,000 to endow the beginning edifice on the new campus.
The Wilcox Group was awarded the contract to develop the campus principal program on Nov xx.

1997
ASUMH connected to purchase seven additional parcels of land adjacent to the original 78 acres. Today, the campus sits on approximately 140 contiguous acres.
On May 10, ASUMH held its first Beginning. Twenty-five degrees and fourteen certificates were awarded.
At the October x meeting of the ASU Board of Trustees, ASUMH unveiled the campus master plan and appear 2 additional endowments. Kickoff National Bank and Trust Co. of Mount Habitation and the J.D. Dryer family each pledged $500,000 to endow 2 of the four buildings on the new campus.
On October 31, Hugh and Kirk McClain and McClain Farms pledged $500,000 to endow the 4th and final building comprising Phase i of the campus main plan. This gift made ASUMH the first public institution to be fully endowed before construction began.

1998
Governor Mike Huckabee attended the groundbreaking ceremony marking the official beginning of construction of the new campus on April 8.

1999
The Centre for Advanced Studies was established, offering three bachelor degrees and two master degrees from ASU-Jonesboro.
Fall enrollment exceeded 1,000 for the first time with ane,069 students.

2000
More 1,000 students and area residents joined ASUMH faculty, staff and assistants in a march from the old campus to the new on January xi. The iii academic buildings opened for classes on January 12.
The Grand Opening of the new campus and Roller Hall was held Apr 25. Governor Mike Huckabee delivered the keynote address.

2001
At the fifth ASUMH Commencement on May xiv, students graduating with an Acquaintance degree totaled more than 100 for the showtime time.
On December xiv, 2001, the ASU Lath of Trustees gave its approval for ASUMH to seek separate accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission of Colleges and Schools.

2002
On June 3, Region VI of the Council for Resource Evolution selected Mrs. Wilma Pattee as the Benefactor of the Year from a six-state region for her gifts to ASUMH.

2003
Initial Accreditation was granted to ASUMH from the Higher Learning Commission of Colleges and Schools.

2004
The Fran Coulter Honors Program was developed following the approval past the ASU System Board of Trustees at their Dec 2003 coming together. The plan was created to honour Dr. Fran Coulter, professor of History at ASUMH.

2005
A Capital Campaign was kicked off for the construction of two new buildings, Wellness Sciences and the Vada Sheid Customs Development Center. The faculty and staff of ASUMH reached 100% participation in the campaign.

2006
At the May 2006 Starting time, six students were the get-go cohort to graduate from the Fran Coulter Honors Program.
2007
The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Wellness Sciences building was held on May 2. Governor Mike Beebe delivered the keynote address.
On September 18, a topping out ceremony was held at the Health Sciences building.

2008
Two new gates were dedicated on the ASUMH campus on February 28. The Thompson-Martin gate at College Street and the McClure Gate at Wade Street.
On April 11, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Vada Sheid Community Development Centre. Dale Bumpers, former Arkansas governor and U.Southward. senator, was the keynote speaker.
The Health Sciences building was dedicated on September 12. Ron Peterson, Baxter Regional Medical Center President and CEO presented the keynote address.
ASUMH was granted Standing Accreditation from the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

2009
Fall enrollment reached a tape i,517 students.
A topping out ceremony was held for the Vada Sheid Community Development Center on April 3, 2009.
The First Security Amphitheatre was dedicated on September 21 at the Vada Sheid Community Evolution Center.

2010
On April 22, a community-wide celebration was held in honor of the tenth anniversary of the construction of the ASUMH campus.

2011
On April 23, Dr. Charles "Chuck" Welch stepped into the position of the president of the Arkansas Country University Schoolhouse System at the historic period of 38, making him the youngest college president in the state and one of the youngest in the country.

In August, the Vada Sheid Community Development Center installed additional retractable seating for 815, giving the auditorium a total of 1,639 seats. With the new seating, The Sheid Center has the capacity to hold nearly twice equally many patrons.

2012
Chancellor Ed Coulter announced his intention to retire on June 30, 2012. He served equally chancellor for 17 years and was also the kickoff chancellor of ASUMH when he was appointed in 1995. Dr. Coulter earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Ouachita Baptist Academy and his Masters in Education and his Doctorate in Educational activity from the Academy of Arkansas. Later on three years as a public school principal he served 25 years at Ouachita Baptist University, equally Assistant to the President, and as Vice President for Administration. Coulter has served previously as the Chair of the American Association of Customs Colleges Board of Directors. He also has served on the American Cancer Guild Board of Directors equally well equally the Arkansas Chamber of Commerce and as a corporate board fellow member of the Baptist Medical Center Organization.

On August 1, 2012, Dr. Robin Myers began his appointment as the 2d chancellor of ASUMH. Dr. Myers has served as President of Arkansas Northeastern Higher (ANC) since 2005. He previously served ANC as Vice President of Education from 1998-2004, Dean for Community Instruction and College Advancement from 1996-1998, Associate Dean then Dean for Standing and Customs Education from 1992-1996, and Coordinator of the Business and Manufacture Resources Eye from 1989-1992. Dr. Myers received the Available of Scientific discipline degree in Marketing and the Bachelor of Scientific discipline degree in Accounting from Arkansas State University, the Master of Science caste in Operations Management from the Academy of Arkansas, and the Doctor of Education degree from the University of Memphis.

2013
Dr. Patricia Bailey, Provost and Vice Chancellor of Academic and Educatee Affairs, announced that she would take early on retirement from ASUMH on June thirty, 2013. Dr. Bailey has served as a vice chancellor since 1995 and was named Provost in 2009 by the ASU Board of Trustees. A native of Oklahoma, Bailey holds a doctorate of education from University of Arkansas, a master'due south degree in psychology and counseling, and a doctorate caste in psychology and political science. In addition to her position at ASUMH, Bailey has devoted much of her fourth dimension to community service. She was elected the first female president of Mountain Dwelling house Rotary, has served as the president of the Arkansas Association of Two-Year Colleges and president of Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce. She has served every bit a member of the Baxter County Airport Commission and of the South Shore Foundation.

In August, Dr. Myers introduced Dr. Martin Eggensperger as the new Vice Chancellor for Academics at ASUMH. Dr. Eggensperger had served as Vice President for Instruction at College of the Ouachitas since 2009. He previously served as Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness at Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) from 2005-2009 and as Division Co-Chair for General Studies at SEARK. From 2001-2003, Eggensperger was an instructor of Mathematics at SEARK.
Dr. Eggensperger received the Available of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Central Arkansas, the Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Arkansas at Trivial Stone and the Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Also in August, Dr. Myers announced that Rosalyn "Roz" Blagg had been selected to serve as Vice Chancellor for Educatee Services. Blagg joined ASUMH in 1998 to create the ASU-Jonesboro Degree Centre on the ASUMH campus. In 2002, she became Registrar and Director of Admissions and in 2008, she was named Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment and has continued to serve in that capacity to present. "Working with an amazing group of people at ASUMH, who are committed to changing the lives of students, has been a wonderful blessing in my life," said Blagg. "I look forward to continuing to share that experience equally nosotros piece of work together to find ways to meet the needs of our students."

2014
The grand opening for a new Fine art Gallery located on the second floor of the Vada Sheid Community Development Center took identify in March of 2014. The Gallery houses rotating displays of art by ASUMH students, the Ozark Regional Arts Quango, as well as the ASUMH permanent art drove.

In August of 2014, ASUMH celebrated the unveiling and adoption of the college's new logo.

ASUMH has worked with local manufacture and other employers over the past two years to develop technical programs to serve the region. After numerous focus group meetings and other survey piece of work, it was determined that new programs in Mechatronics, Automotive Service, and Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration were to exist created and offered along with the pre-existing Welding program. In September of 2014, ASUMH formally opened and defended the ASUMH Technical Centre, located on Highway 62, two miles w of the primary campus. The facility has 20,600 foursquare anxiety with an additional 4,000 square feet under roof. There are over 200 parking spaces on a paved lot.

2015
In Baronial of 2015 ASUMH welcomed Laura Yarbrough, who replaced John Davidson as Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs. Laura comes to ASUMH from Steele, MO, and worked at Arkansas Northeastern College for 23 years. At ANC, Laura was vice president of pupil services from 2009–2015, managing director of financial aid from 2000–2009, manager of educational talent search and an educational talent search outreach representative from 1991–2000. She received an MBA from Arkansas State University in 1998. Her daughter, Heather, is a graduate of ASUMH and currently is enrolled at Arkansas State Academy in the Early Childhood Educational activity plan. Her son, Carson, is a senior at Mount Dwelling house High Schoolhouse and is enrolled in welding courses at the ASUMH Technical Center. Laura'south husband, Gregg Yarbrough, is a master at the Blytheville Primary School in Blytheville, AR. He completed his chief'due south degree at Arkansas State Academy and his specialist caste at Southeast Missouri State University.

In September of 2015, ASUMH kicked off its 5th ceremony performing arts flavour. The performing arts serial has brought educational and cultural programs to the Twin Lakes Area since its debut operation back in 2011. The series has grown in many ways because of community back up.

2016
Data released by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE) showed ASUMH had the state's highest success charge per unit overall with retention and graduation of students. Numbers were based on spring 2016 graduation from students who began in 2014. The average success rate in Arkansas is 63 percent and at ASUMH, that number is 71 percentage. The school's dropout rate is 36.3 percent, while the land boilerplate is 55.1 pct.
ASUMH hosted a celebration of manufacturing at its Technical Center on November 16 featuring a ribbon cutting for a 4,500-foursquare-foot expansion of the mechatronics and machining labs. The country-of-the-fine art addition is a partnership with Baxter International, Inc.
2020
Dr. Tamara Daniel was hired as Provost/Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at ASUMH. Dr. Daniel previously served every bit Vice President for the Higher at Dyersburg State Customs College in Tennessee. As a primary bookish officeholder, she oversaw the learning environment, educatee support services, and enrollment management. During her tenure at Dyersburg, she was instrumental in advancing bookish and student success initiatives related to success coaching, advising, articulation pathways, distance educational activity, learning communities, and high impact practices. In addition to serving as a master academic officer, Dr. Daniel's leadership roles include Associate Dean of Academics, Mathematics Department Chair, and International Studies Director at Southwest Tennessee Customs College in Memphis. She has sixteen years of experience as a full-time faculty member in mathematics and 10 years of authoritative experience. Dr. Daniel received her Doctorate and Masters of Science in Mathematics and Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Mississippi.
